General questions
Demiurg is a platform that lets you create, customize, and share AI agents through natural language descriptions. You describe the agent you want, and Demiurg generates all the necessary code to bring it to life.
No coding experience is required to create and use agents. Demiurg generates all necessary code from your natural language description. Advanced users can access the code editor for deeper customization if desired.
Agents can perform a wide range of tasks depending on how you design them: answer questions, analyze data, generate content, facilitate learning, assist with creative work, automate processes, and much more. See our Use Cases page for comprehensive examples.
Demiurg offers both free and premium plans. The free plan allows you to create and use a limited number of agents with standard capabilities. Premium plans provide more agents, advanced features, higher usage limits, and priority support.
Account management
Visit demiurg.ai and click “Sign Up.” You can register using your email, Google account, or other supported authentication methods.
Yes. Go to Settings > Profile and click “Edit” next to your username. Usernames must be unique across the platform.
Go to Settings > Security > Password and follow the prompts to update your password. You’ll need to enter your current password for verification.
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Follow the confirmation steps to permanently delete your account. This action cannot be undone and will remove all your agents and data.
Agent creation
More specific descriptions yield better agents. Include details about the agent’s purpose, knowledge domains, personality, and specific tasks it should perform. See our Prompt Tips page for guidance.
Yes. You can edit your agent’s description, appearance, and behavior at any time. Major changes might require regenerating the agent, but your customizations will be preserved when possible.
Free accounts can create up to 3 agents. Premium plans allow for more agents depending on your subscription level.
Currently, direct imports from other platforms aren’t supported. However, you can describe the functionality of agents from other platforms, and Demiurg will create a similar agent.
Using agents
From your dashboard, click on any agent to open a chat interface. Type your message in the input field and press Enter or click the send button.
Standard agents don’t have direct internet access. However, you can use the Code Editor to enable web searching and API integrations for premium accounts.
Yes, agents maintain context within a conversation session. Long-term memory across sessions depends on your plan level and specific agent configuration.
Yes, you can upload files for your agent to analyze. Click the attachment icon in the chat interface. Supported formats include TXT, PDF, DOCX, CSV, XLS, JSON, and common image formats.
Sharing and permissions
From your agent’s page, click “Share” and enter the email addresses or usernames of people you want to share with. You can also generate shareable links or QR codes. See our Sharing Guide for more details.
You can set various permission levels: View (chat only), Use (integrate into workflows), Edit (modify settings), Clone (create a copy), and Admin (full control including sharing). Learn more on our Permissions page.
Yes. From your agent’s page, click “Share” then “Publish to Community.” Your agent will undergo a review process before being published. See our Community Sharing page for details.
Yes. Go to your agent’s settings, select “Manage Sharing,” and remove any user’s access or modify their permissions at any time.
Mobile app
Yes, Demiurg offers mobile apps for iOS and Android devices. Download from the App Store or Google Play.
No, use the same account credentials on mobile and web. All your agents and conversations will sync across devices.
Yes, you can create agents directly from the mobile app. The creation process is similar to the web version, though some advanced customization options may be limited to desktop.
The app requires an internet connection for most functionality. Some limited offline capabilities allow you to view recent conversations when disconnected.
Billing and plans
Demiurg offers monthly and annual subscription plans with different features and limits. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings > Billing section.
You’ll maintain access to your existing agents, but might lose access to premium features. If you exceed the lower plan’s agent limit, you’ll need to archive some agents before downgrading.
Refund policies vary by region and subscription type. Please contact support for specific situations. Generally, we offer prorated refunds for annual plans within 14 days of purchase.
Yes, Demiurg offers team and enterprise plans with collaboration features, advanced security, and centralized billing. Contact our sales team for details.
Privacy and security
Demiurg uses your data to provide and improve the service. We don’t sell your personal information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
Yes, your conversations are private by default. Only you and those you explicitly share with can access your conversations. Demiurg staff cannot view your conversations except in limited circumstances outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Yes, you can delete individual conversations, agents, or your entire account. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days as required by applicable laws.
Payment processing is handled by trusted third-party providers who comply with PCI DSS standards. Demiurg does not store complete credit card information.
